2023 Session – Autonomous Drone Racing, Fixed-wing Aerobatics

Continuing last year’s multi-project format, students had the opportunity to tackle a variety of challenges under two main categories: autonomous drone racing and fixed-wing aerobatics. These projects are part of the Ph.D. studies of FSC Lab members Chao Qin and Pravin Wedage, and ARC students were able to complete a set of “mini-projects” that directly assisted their work, while simultaneously getting a chance to work on components of these challenging research problems.

This year, we also had the opportunity to have in-person sessions for the first time in our club’s history. We are glad to finally meet our club members in person and give them a chance to have a more involved research experience!
